A Global View First
Praneel's path to Hyderabad's interior design scene wasn't a direct one. It was shaped in classrooms in New Zealand and on the job in China, in a field that had little to do with crystal paintings or wallpaper. That distance became his greatest advantage — exposure to global standards of craftsmanship, discipline, and client service gave him an outsider's eye, one that would later let him see gaps in his hometown's interior design market that locals had simply stopped noticing.
The Right Moment to Start
When Praneel returned to India, he arrived at a difficult moment. The aftermath of the Covid era had reshaped how people thought about their homes, and Hyderabad's real estate and interiors market was only just beginning to find its footing again. Many would have waited for calmer waters. Praneel saw it differently — a slow-recovering market meant an opening for someone willing to do the unglamorous work of rebuilding trust with customers who had grown cautious. In September 2023, that conviction became Posh Walls.
